Boobs That Kill

Why does a woman choose to have breast implants? Why
do more of them commit suicide than those without
implants?
Inquiring minds want to know about boobs that kill.
A Swedish study over 19 years found that, on average, women with implants are three times more likely to commit suicide than women without breast implants.
Is it just a case of lies, damned lies, and statistics? Do breast implants cause a psychological problem which leads to suicide?
Or, does it have something to do with the type of woman who feels a need to enhance her personal appearance, and is willing to go through the pain, discomfort, and expense of having implants?
The research was interesting. These same women were also three times likely to die from alcohol or drug addiction. But again, why? Because of the implants? Or, because of the type of women who feels a need for implants?
The study doesn't say, of course, and the news headlines on TV and in newspapers don't mention the alternative causes.
I think the problem is old boobs. The study noted that there was no greater risk for suicide for the first 10 years after having breast implants, but from 10 to 19 years it was 4.5 times higher, and six times higher after 20 years.
See? The statistics show that suicides are caused by old boobs, though I suspect a different cause.
Why do women get breast implants in the first place? They're distressed over how they look, and the want to look better, right? For most, breast implants help achieve a better look. At first.
Over time, the debilitating effects of age set in, regardless of boob size, and the aging process condemns such women to yet another level of unhappiness.
Somehow, unhappiness and suicide appear to be related. Is it the boobs that kill women? Probably not. Remember, bullets don't kill people. People kill people.
