Do you have a favorite color? I do not. I like red but there are so many varieties. Fire Engine Red is nice. But so is orange Orange. Green is a bit too dark for me. Brown, too.
What about Blue?
As with many of the primary colors, Blue has a healthy range of from dark to light. My favorite is a Blue somewhere in between; a Blue that does not math how I feel.
Let me explain.
My watch tracks my heartbeat. An app on my phone then captures that data and displays it in a daily graph. Red is a heartbeat above 100 beats per minute (bpm). Orange is a heartbeat between 60 and 99 bpm.
This is from last night to this morning.
Blue is a heartbeat below 60 bpm. I like Blue. Prior to ALS, my heartbeat range was nearly 100 bpm; from low to high. My morning run—- about 20 minutes—- would get heart rate up to 150 bpm.
I cannot do that anymore.
Sleep was and often remains in the 50 beats per minute range, though. That is when I sleep the best and feel the most rested when beginning a new day.
I like Blue.
